Recommended needles: 4.5 mm - 5.5 mm (US 7–9)

Sample: 18 stitches x 24 rows/10 cm with 5 mm needles (US 8)

BFL yarns are naturally soft, but they are also good for items that are subject to wear such as socks, mittens, sweaters and hats. They drape well without heaviness due to the natural crimp of the fibre and, with long staple fibres, these yarns are less prone to pilling than a lot of wool.

Premordanted with alun at 15 ? WOF and ready to dye

Care: hand-wash with a neutral pH wool soap, ideally below 30 °C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat, out of direct sunlight, without spinning or tumble drying (even for SW wool).
