Yarn for darning and embroidery
Lace, 2 ply
100% SW Bluefaced Leicester
Approx. 40 m (33 yards)
Recommended needles: 3 mm – 4 mm (US 2.5–6)
Sample: 32 stitches x 40 rows/10 cm with 3.25 mm needles (US 3)
A very versatile thread to use as a single or double for darning, visible mending or embroidery on knitwear!
Hand dyed with natural materials in small batches.
Each batch is unique, and there may be slight shade variations in a skein. It is recommended to introduce a new skein of yarn slowly by alternating skeins row for row.
There may be occasional excess of color and plant residue.
Photos are taken in natural light, but color may vary from screen to screen or be perceived differently.
Care: hand-wash with a neutral pH wool soap, ideally below 30 °C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat, out of direct sunlight, without spinning or tumble drying (even for SW wool).
